gnfodiz is a linux nfo/diz file reader. it knows how to draw ascii graphics, allowing you to scale it if you wish.

if you want to be notified about news regarding this stuff, wait patiently for implementation of rss'es :)

take a look on these sites if you'll have some spare time...

nfo utilities - some nfo related tools,

author's blog - polish (as in this funny country) eyes only,

searchlores - gold mine in IT century,

now for some thoughts about it.

gnfodiz is a public domain project. this basically means you can copy the source code and sell it, if you find some clever person who'll buy it -- i don't care.

why? the whole project was created to aid me in the journey of learning gtk+ (to be more specific, gtkmm). the working software is just a side effect which turned out to be useful on linux.

faq

q. where can i download a windows port of gnfodiz?
a. i don't know. what i do know however that you can't get it from this site. there are more than enough windows nfo readers (check damn nfo viewer), so wasting time and creating another one is a... well, waste of time.

q. how can i compile it on linux? (or any other source code related question)
a. for this info please navigate to gitorious' wiki page for gnfodiz (here).

q. how about some contact?
a. you can use this e-mail: , but please don't send spam. not that i'll have problems with it, but your mail will be reaped by antispam filters and i won't even see it.

q. do you use pirated releases?
a. no... i only leech nfos without the actual files.
